INGREDIENTS
- 1 no. American Corn(Makai)
- 2 tbsp Gram Flour
- 2 tbsp Rice Flour
- 2 nos. Onion
- 1 no. Carrot
- 2 nos. Green Chilis
- 1 tsp Green Chili Paste
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Dry Turmeric
Powder
- 2 tsp Salt or as required
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds(Til)
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- ½ tsp Hot Spices
Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander
Leaves
- ½ no. Lemon
↝Remove all corn kernels(Makai Dana), grind them smooth, and put them in one bowl.
↝Chopp onions, carrot, green chilis, coriander leaves, and add to bowl.
Recipe for homemade crispy Makai Vada
↝Now add both gram flour & rice flour to the bowl, and mix all ingredients nicely.
↝Mix all remaining masalas and lemon juice into the makai mixtures.
↝Take a frying pan, put on low-medium flame, add the required oil for deep frying makai vada.
↝Add few numbers of mixture balls(size shown in picture), and deep fry it until its’ colors changed to brown & texture crispy.
↝Take out fried Makai Vada in one dish having tissue paper.
↝Likewise, fry the remaining mixtures balls as per their turn as above.
↝Now, Makai Vada is ready to serve along with green chilis or tomato ketchup as your choice.
