4 mixed flours were used to make the steamed Patra Recipe at home.
- ➢Take one bowl and mix all flour together and mix well.
- ➢Add all ingredients in it and again mix all things properly, and add ½ glass of water(need more water if the mixture is thick).
- ➢Spread mixtures over one Patra(Arbi Leaves) as shown in the picture and cover with another Patra and rolled it as shown in the picture.
- ➢Put idli cooker on gas, put side by side all rolled Patras in cooker, and add 2 glass of water, and cover it.
- ➢Steamed it on a medium flame for 20min.
- ➢Turn off the flame and let it cool itself.
- ➢Remove all Patras from the cooker, cut each roll into three pieces, and put in a separate dish as shown in the picture.
Making tempering requires the following ingredients. (Have you tried to make Patra(Arbi leaves) ever?)
⧩2 tbsp Vegetables Oil
⧩1 tsp Mustard Seeds
⧩1 pinch Hing
⧩2 tsp Sesame Seeds(til)
⧩2 tsp Grated Coconut
⧩1 tbsp Coriander leaves
➢Take tadka pan, put on the medium
flame of gas, pour oil, after heating oil, pour mustard seeds, after the start
crackling adds pinch asafoetida and spread it over cut Patras.
➢Now sprinkle sesame seeds, grated
coconut, and coriander leaves over Patras.
Now, this dish is ready to serve.
