How to make Gujarati style mixed Dal Vada at home?

(A). Preparation To Make Dal Vada.
- Take ½ cup Chana Dal, ½ cup
Urad Dal & ½ cup Moong Dal in one vessel; mix it and wash properly two
three-time
- Now take good amounts of
pure water and fill in the vessel, more than 1 ½ inch of that mixture level,
and cover it.
- Keep aside for five hours.
- After 5 hours, strain all
water from it, and coarsely grinding it,
in a mixer.
- Take all these ground
mixtures in a separate bowl and make a paste of green chili in this same mixer
jar(for making green chili paste- take 1inch of the ginger piece & 4 nos.
green chili).
(B). Easy and quick mixed Dal Vada(Chana, Urad, & Moong Dal Vada) recipe.
STEP1
- Mix green chili paste along with all remaining ingredients to dal vada mixture.
- Cover this bowl & keep it for 1 hour.
STEP2
- After one-hour dal vada
mixture is ready for frying dal vada as shown in the picture.
- Now take frying small pan
and rest on high gas flame and fill it with three or four tbs oil.
- After oil heat, check its’
heating by putting one dal vada into it. If a dal vada instantly comes out then
believe oil became heat properly.
STEP3
- After that, slow down the flame on low-medium.
- Make required size vada and put directly from the bowl to pan one by one carefully till pan full and space for stirring.
- The remaining dal vada is to be fry in the next lot of frying.
STEP4
- After every one minute turn those all dal vada and let it fry for one minute.
- Likewise, fry all dal vada till its color changed to light brown.
STEP5
- After frying vada, take it out on tissue paper on one plate.
- Likewise, fry all dal vada and take out on tissue paper.
