- 2 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 7 nos. Potatoes Medium Size
- 5 nos. Green Chili
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 tsp Rock Salt or as required.
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Peanuts
- 6 nos. Curry Leaves
- 2 tsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves

This is our simple, healthy, and easy-to-make recipe is perfect for Navratri, Vrat, or any farali occasion.
Follow our step-by-step guide to create a perfectly fluffy and delicious Sabudana-Khichadi-Dish.
- Wash Sabudana properly and soak in a water bowl; water level more than Sabudana’s level,(soak for 5 hours).
- After 5 hours drain all water from Sabudana.
- Now wash all potatoes, remove its’ skin; and cut them into small pieces.
- Cut all 5 green chilies into very small pieces.
- Grate ginger piece.
- Take one pan and pour oil in it and after heating oil add cumin seeds.
- After crackling cumin seeds, add curry leaves.
- Add peanuts and fry it properly, put all cut potatoes, stir it and cover the pan for 5 to 7 minutes on slow flame.
- Open the cover and add cut green chili, grated ginger, sesame seeds, and cover for two minutes.
- After two minutes open the cover and check the potatoes for its’ softness and they cooked well then add all Sabudana, stir well, cover it, cover it for 3 minutes.
- Open the cover, stir it, and cover for one minute.
- Open the cover and sprinkle coriander leaves.
- Sabudana Khichadi is ready to serve.
